✨ Textured Hair Society Policies & Service Terms Welcome to Textured Hair Society, where care, creativity, and professionalism meet. These policies are designed to protect both your time and mine, ensure a smooth client experience, and allow me to serve each guest with excellence and grace. 📌 Please Note: To ensure you’re fully informed before booking, service descriptions can be viewed by clicking the “ℹ️” (info icon) on the photo of the service you’re interested in. Each description includes important details about the style, what’s included, deposit requirements, and more. Take a moment to review the information carefully so you can book with confidence. ⸻ 📌 Booking Agreement By booking an appointment and/or submitting your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms: ⸻ 🔒 Booking & Deposits • A valid card is required to book online. • A $30 non-refundable deposit is required and will be invoiced upon booking. This deposit secures your appointment time. • Your card will only be charged in the event of a no-show or late cancellation. • No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% fee of the scheduled service. ⸻ 💇🏾♀️ Hair Prep Requirements To respect everyone’s time and ensure a high-quality result, please arrive with your hair: • Fully taken down • Detangled • Clean and blow-dried, unless your service includes a shampoo Please do not apply oils, creams, or get a fresh trim before your appointment. If hair is not properly prepared: • Takedown fee: $25/hour • Dematting or loc removal fee: $35/hour These are separate services not included in standard styling quotes and may require rescheduling if not disclosed ahead of time. ⸻ 🌀 Disclosure of Hair Condition You must notify me in advance if: • Your child’s hair is matted, locked, or requires significant detangling This allows me to schedule appropriately and avoid delays or cancellations. ⚠️ If hair arrives in a condition different from what was booked, and I’m unable to accommodate the additional service, your appointment may be rescheduled and your deposit forfeited. ⸻ 🧠 Emotional & Physical Readiness All clients are expected to arrive in a state that allows the service to be completed without unnecessary interruption, emotional resistance, or physical unpreparedness. Your comfort and experience matter—but so does my ability to work in a calm, focused, and respectful environment. If at any point I determine that a client (child or adult) is physically or emotionally unable to proceed with the service—due to distress, excessive restlessness, resistance, or refusal to cooperate—the service may be paused or ended. You will still be charged for the time and labor already provided. I serve with patience, compassion, and grace—but I also protect my peace, energy, and body. Please arrive emotionally and physically prepared for your service so we can maintain a peaceful and respectful experience. ⸻ ✨ Shampoo Services • Not included unless requested at the time of booking • Add-on shampoo service: $25 ⸻ 💳 Payments • Full balance is due at the end of service • Accepted payment methods: Debit/Credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay • Tips are always appreciated and go directly toward maintaining a quality client experience ⸻ 💕 Saturday Appointments • Reserved for flexible clients only • Appointment times may shift slightly • You’ll be notified if an earlier time opens or if delays occur • If your schedule is rigid, I recommend booking on a weekday ⸻ 📝 Waitlist Policy If your preferred time is unavailable: • Join the waitlist for the next available opening • You will be contacted when a slot opens and must respond within 2 hours to confirm ⸻ 🖊 Final Note These policies are not just about rules, they’re about respect. Cancellation Policy
I charge a 100% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
